Harvey has over 40 years of experience in both real estate and private equity as an operator, entrepreneur, board member and investor. Previously, Harvey served as President & CEO of Grace Home Centers West, which operated 90 home improvement centers in the western United States and was President & CEO of Ole’s Home Centers, Inc., which was the sixteenth largest home improvement center chain in the United States when it was sold to W.R. Grace. Harvey was also the founding CEO and Chairman of Stør. Harvey earned a MBA from Columbia University.
Peter co-leads KCB’s real estate platform with Megan. His primary focus is on investment strategy, risk management, and relationships with partners. Since joining KCB in 2003, Peter has raised and deployed over $400 million of capital into 120 properties with an asset value of over $1.6 billion.
Peter serves as a member of the Board of Directors of several companies, including ThriftBooks (the largest e-retailer of used books), Spiral Binding (the largest independent business-to-business supplier of document finishing and binding supplies and equipment in the U.S.), and Intellectual Holdings (a managed service organization for 10 men’s concierge healthcare centers branded as Revibe Men’s Health).
Peter has been a board member for several not-for-profit institutions.
Peter earned a B.A., with highest honors, from Princeton University, a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School and a Doctorate in Music Composition from the University of Texas. Peter’s compositions have received international awards and recognition.
Megan co-leads KCB’s real estate platform. She is responsible for executing the Partnership’s investment strategy, including the deployment of capital and management of real estate portfolio, which comprises $1.5 billion of real estate assets. During her tenure at KCB, Megan has closed over 35 deals with an asset value of over $800 million.
Megan services as a member of the Board of Directors of several companies including Spiral Binding (largest independent business-to-business supplier of document finishing and binding supplies and equipment in the U.S.), ThriftBooks (the largest e-retailer of used books), and Intellectual Holdings (a managed service organization for 10 men’s concierge healthcare centers branded as Revibe Men’s Health).
Prior to joining KCB, Megan was an Associate at Grayhawk Capital, where she was responsible for acquisitions and portfolio management of early to growth stage technology companies. Megan earned a BS in Finance from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and holds a certificate in International Business.
Romayh serves as Principal at KCB, where he is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, structuring, and executing new investment opportunities, as well as overseeing capital market strategies. Romayh has been directly involved in closing over 20 acquisitions, totaling more than $700 million in asset value during his tenure at KCB. Beyond his transaction expertise, Romayh oversees existing investments and ensures the execution of business plans for new acquisitions until they are fully stabilized.
Prior to KCB, Romayh gained extensive experience in real estate development, constructing a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, and hospitality projects with a total development cost of $400 million.
Romayh holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance and Development from Harvard University, where he graduated with distinction, and a B.E. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
Mario’s primary focus is the oversight of KCB’s Partnership portfolio which consists of 2,435 multifamily units, 830 healthcare units, 1,124 hotel keys, 1,113 storage units, and nearly 2,000,000 SF of commercial space throughout the U.S. valued at over $1.25 billion.
Prior to joining KCB, Mario worked for JRK Property Holdings with direct oversight of approximately 4,000 multifamily units across multiple US regions. He was responsible for in-depth reviews of the P&L, yearly budgeting and quarterly reforecasting of property performance, revenue management and expense control. Mario graduated from Indiana University, Kelley School of Business with a major in finance and real estate.
Sam focuses on portfolio management with oversight of 2,435 multifamily units, 830 healthcare units, and approximately 2,000,000SF of commercial space valued at over $1.25 billion.
Prior to joining KCB, Sam worked for Lincoln Avenue Capital, one of the nation’s leading affordable housing developers, where he was on the asset management team which was responsible for a portfolio of 52 properties with over 10,000 affordable apartments. Prior to that he worked for BridgeInvest, a real estate lender where he focused on asset management, deal execution, and construction administration on developments across all asset classes. Sam started his career with Magellan Development Group, assisting with construction management of luxury high-rise developments in Miami and Chicago. Sam is a graduate of The University of Miami and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science. He also has a real estate license in Florida.
Christel supports KCB’s Portfolio Management team with managing and adding value for the multifamily healthcare, and industrial properties. She also assists the acquisitions team with the initial underwriting and market research.
Prior to KCB, Christel co-founded Placemaker Real Estate LLC, a private equity firm based in Florida that acquires and manages multifamily and industrial properties in Florida and the Midwest. Christel raised a fund of over $25 million and participated in the closing of over 10 deals. Christel led the process from acquisitions, including underwriting, market analysis, and due diligence, through closing. She also managed a team overseeing interior and exterior renovations in addition to the day to day and portfolio management of owned properties.
Christel graduated from Harvard University with a Master’s in Real Estate Development and from Politecnico Di Milano with a Bachelor’s in Architecture.
